• MOV — video for workflows using Apple applications.
• H.265 — HEVC video in an MP4 container; check support on the receiving device.
• WebM — video for compatible browsers and players.
• SRT — text and timing without editor styling.
• VTT — a separate subtitle track for web players.
• ASS — subtitles with extended styling; requires a compatible player.

Source files

The editor file picker accepts local video, audio, and image media. Whether a particular file can be processed also depends on the codecs inside its container.

Recommendations

• Play the file before uploading.
• Do not make an incompatible file valid by changing its extension alone.
• If processing fails, transcode the source to MP4 in a video editor.
• Keep the original until the result has been exported successfully.
